Breed: Collie/Shepherd (we never saw a parent so it’s a real guess!)
Kennel Training: She loves her kennel - it is her safe space. She enjoys spending time in her crate during the day, even when her people are home.
House Training: Teddy is proudly house trained. She loves going outside, especially with another dog.
Personality: Teddy loves running to the toy box, picking one out, and running her prize back to her bed or kennel. She loves toys but is never possessive. Belly rubs are Teddy’s love language.
Teddy has met several dogs - big and small. It can take her a while to warm up to new dogs with high energy, but once she figures them out, she LOVES to play. She is more interested in new dogs than new people, but she will let anyone pet her as long as they approach gently.
Teddy is shy at first, but once she feels settled and safe in a new environment, her goofy personality shines through. She is kind and careful when playing; her signature move is her whole-body wiggle and stomping her paws. She likes to play tug of war, but she usually lets you win.
Teddy would continue to thrive in a home with another dog. It may take a few weeks for her to settle in, but it’s so worth it to see her come out of her shell day by day. Teddy will reward your patience with so much love, kisses, and the goofy “happy prance” she does when praised. She has recently interacted with a newborn baby, and has been nothing but gentle and sweet with him.

Litter Note: This litter of puppies was rescued from a dump, they had zero human interaction prior to rescue. They have taken quite a while to adjust to life with people. They definitely like dogs more than people, but once they trust their people they will be loyal forever.
Anyone interested in doing a trial with a puppy from this litter will need to know that it will take time and patience to help them truly settle in. They will be quite scared and likely shut down for the first few days while they establish that they are safe in a new environment. Please keep this in mind when applying!
