Kennel Training: He will sleep in his kennel at night no problem but doesn’t love spending time in there during the day. He doesn’t like being left at home yet but is working on this and making progress everyday.
House Training: 100% no accidents.
Personality: Al Capone is a very smart, happy and cuddly guy. All he really wants in life is someone to love him like he loves them! He’s a tall, 75lb boy but he’s got very good manners, especially for his age! He’s got all the basics like ‘sit’, ‘lay down’, and ‘stay’, he picked up shake a paw within a few minutes and his recall is quite good! He’s very food motivated and eager to please. He is really good on a leash and loves going for walks (he gets excited about cats/squirrels/rabbits and will pull a bit but you can get his attention back with treats), playing with other dogs, his toys, cuddling and belly rubs. Al Capone would love a home with another dog or solo with someone who will truly be his person and best friend. Currently Al is not ready for a house with cats or other small animals aside from dogs.
You will have a loyal adventure buddy for life with this guy!
We are currently recommending Al not be in a home with cats. Despite being raised in a home with cats we do not believe they are a great fit for him at this time.
